- Saucepan or skillet
- Immersion blender
- or standing blender
Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced steak and let sit for a minute before stirring to brown. Do not stir too much, as you want it to brown. Cook for another minute. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Add onions to the pan with the butter and olive oil and cook until the onions are caramelized and tender.
Add the stock, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic to the pan and stir together over medium-low heat until it starts to simmer.
Use an immersion blender to blend the sauce, or transfer to a standing blender.
Transfer the sauce to a side bowl.
Add the broccoli to the pan with some avocado oil and cook until tender.
Return the beef to the pan (pour in any juices that accumulated) and the sauce, and toss with the broccoli until everything is coated. All done!
This is a well-balanced combination of savory, garlicky, and slightly sweet flavors. The pork is easy to shred and likely absorbs the essence of the onions, carrots, and seasonings. This is a comforting and flavorful slow-cooked pork dish with a blend of aromatic vegetables and seasonings. Enjoy!
