Grass Roots pastured ground lamb is well-marbled, mild in flavor and less gamey than conventional. It’s perfect for burgers, kebabs, stir-fry, meatballs, meatloaf, chili and more. Our ground comes from sheep that are grass-fed and finished, living their entire life on pasture eating an array of weeds like curly dock, clover, hairy vetch, ragweed and cocklebur which fosters a more nutritious, delicious meat. Commonly consumed in Mediterranean diets, lamb is rich with Omega-3s and lower in saturated fats than most other meats.
