Indulge in the savory delight of Grilled Ribeye Steak with Buttered Bone Marrow. This carnivore diet recipe offers a luxurious combination of flavors and textures. The juicy ribeye steak is seasoned to perfection and grilled to your preferred level of doneness, delivering succulent bites with every bite. Alongside the steak, velvety and buttery bone marrow adds a luscious richness to the dish. Served hot off the grill, this recipe showcases the delectable qualities of high-quality beef, making it a decadent choice for meat lovers following the carnivore diet.

Please note that the carnivore diet is a highly restrictive approach, and it's important to consider your nutritional needs and consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet.

Ingredients

2-3 bone marrow slices (obtained from beef bones)
Butter
2 Tbsp
Salt and pepper, to taste

Utensils

  • Grill
  • Foil

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

While the steak is resting, place the bone marrow slices on a grill-safe tray or directly onto the grill.

Grill the steak and bone marrow simultaneously:

Grill the bone marrow for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Remove from the grill and cover with foil.

Grill the ribeye steak for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping halfway through, for medium-rare doneness when the interior temperature reaches 130 degrees for medium rare. Remove from the grill and cover with foil and let sit for 5 minutes until the interior temp reaches 140.

While the steak is resting, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Serve the grilled ribeye steak alongside the buttered bone marrow slices. Drizzle the melted butter over the steak and marrow to enhance the richness.
