Buckle up, because I'm not gonna sugarcoat this: our food system is rigged against us. But I wouldn't be writing if I didn't see a way to fight back.

Let's cut straight to it - our food system is broken as hell. Big Ag's in bed with federal regulators, Big Pharma's got their hooks deep in farming, and a handful of meat-packing monopolies are choking the life out of rural America.

I've devoted my life to fighting this broken system, and some days it feels like pushing a boulder uphill. Sure, at Grass Roots we're training farmers, building ethical supply chains, and partnering with processors who don't treat workers like disposable parts. But here's the cold hard truth - none of that matters without you.

It makes my blood boil that we've let them create a system where a Snickers bar scaled up to turkey size would cost $170, but they've convinced everyone that $4.99/lb chicken is "normal."
