1 pack
Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
1
Green Bell Pepper
1
Yellow Onion
1
Olive Oil
1 tbl spn
Mayonnaise, for topping
Yellow mustard, for topping
Ketchup, for topping

Utensils

  • Large Skillet
  • Toothpicks (optional
  • to secure the bacon)

Instructions

Wrap each hot dog with one slice of raw bacon, slightly overlapping as you wrap. Secure the ends with toothpicks if needed.

Heat a large skillet or flat-top grill over medium heat. Add the olive oil to one side of the skillet and the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly caramelized, about 8–10 minutes.

Place the bacon wrapped hot dogs on the other side of the skillet. Cook, rotating every few minutes, until the bacon is browned and crispy on all sides and the hot dogs are heated through, about 10–12 minutes.

Toast the hot dog buns until lightly golden.

Place each bacon wrapped hot dog into a toasted bun. Top generously with the sautéed peppers and onions, then drizzle with mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
