Take a bite out of Chicago with this legendary street dog. Built on a steamed bun with a perfectly cooked hot dog, this Midwest classic is piled high with tangy yellow mustard, sweet relish, crisp pickle spears, fresh chopped onions, and juicy tomato slices. Hot Dog Buns
1 pack
White Onion, finely chopped
½ cup
Roma tomatoes, sliced into wedges or half-moons
1-2
Yellow Mustard
Sweet Relish
Dill Pickle Spears
Optional: Celery Salt, for finishing

Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer and cook the hot dogs for 5–7 minutes, until heated through. Steam the buns until warm and soft.

Place a hot dog into each steamed bun. Top with yellow mustard, sweet relish, chopped white onion, tomato slices, and a dill pickle spear.
