Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Lightly score the top of each breast with a sharp knife.
Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Rub the seasonings evenly over the chicken.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until nearly cooked through.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. As the butter melts, continuously spoon the garlic butter over the chicken.
Pour in the juice of both lemons and let the chicken simmer for another 2 minutes, continuing to baste with the lemon garlic butter.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Optional Broccolini Side
While the chicken rests, add the broccoli to the same skillet. Season with salt and pepper and sauté in the remaining lemon garlic butter until tender-crisp.
Serve the chicken alongside the broccoli, spooning any extra lemon garlic butter from the pan over the top.
