Your meat choices are directly affecting climate change

At Grass Roots Farmer’s Cooperative we don’t want to cut any corners. We want to pay the farmers well, and we want to make sure the supply chain workers are taken care of. We also care deeply about animal welfare and have a real serious passion about taking care of the environment. We want to leave our farms better off than how we found them.

We believe that the future of agriculture is regenerative, especially at the scale that we are operating. Out of respect for the land and the animal, our farmers use small-batch, regenerative farming that not only provides a healthy outdoor life for our animals, it builds soil for generations to come. What results is profoundly better tasting, more nutritious meat that’s also good for the environment.

Everything that we do at all our farms, from raising livestock to how we treat our pastures trying to capture that carbon, helps heal the ecosystem. Our choices are directly affecting climate change.

Our Cooperative allows us to keep our food systems local and sustainable. It also allows us to have strong relationships with our farmers, processing partners, and with you, our supporters. By shopping with Grass Roots, you are directly supporting regenerative agriculture and our efforts to improve our ecosystem. Learn more about our grass-fed, pastured meat here.
