Fire Cider Broth

Ingredients
lemons, washed well and sliced in half
2
fresh ginger, washed well
1 2-inch piece
raw turmeric root (or ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder)
1 2-inch piece
cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon
raw honey
1 tbsp
Utensils
- saucepan
- juicer
- strainer
Instructions
Warm the broth in a saucepan.
Add 1 tbsp of honey to the broth.
Run the lemons and ginger through a juicer, if you’re using raw turmeric root also run this through the juicer.
You can also juice the lemon by hand and grate the ginger into a mesh strainer, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible.
Stir the lemon juice into the ginger juice.
Stir the cayenne pepper into the juice and drink as a shot, again, if you’re using turmeric powder instead of raw turmeric, you would stir this in too.
Remove the broth from heat and slowly stir in the wellness shot.
Sip and enjoy!
