Cherry Cola BBQ Sauce

Bursting with bold flavor, this sweet and spicy Cherry Cola BBQ Sauce brings nostalgic summer vibes to your next cookout. Made with real cherries and a kick of heat, it's perfect for ribs, wings, or grilled veggies. 

Ingredients

Ketchup
1 1/2 cups
Cherry cola
1 can
Red wine vinegar
1/4 cup
Water
1/4 cup
Light brown sugar
2 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp
Paprika
2 tsp
Sea salt
1 tbsp
Onion powder
1 tbsp
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Black pepper
1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper
1 tsp
Cherries, pitted
1/2 cup

Utensils

  • Sauce pan
  • Whisk
  • Blender or grinder

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan.
Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

Once your sauce is fully incorporated and thickened, transfer it to a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
