These cabbage rolls are pasture-raised comfort food at its finest—filled with savory ground pork, farm-fresh veggies, and a kiss of Korean BBQ flavor. Wrapped in blanched cabbage and pan-fried to perfection, they’re a delicious way to bring the pasture to your plate.

Ingredients

Mushrooms, minced
½ cup
Green onion, chopped
¼ cup
Yellow onion, chopped
½
Carrot, julienned
1
Garlic clove, minced
2
Napa cabbage (or regular green cabbage)
1 head
Korean BBQ sauce
3 Tbsp
Olive oil
2 Tbsp
Salt and pepper
to taste

Utensils

  • Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Tongs

Instructions

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions, green onion, carrots, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.

Once onions are translucent add ground pork and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the pork is browned and cooked through.Stir in Korean BBQ sauce. Continue to cook until the mixture caramelizes slightly. Remove from heat.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch cabbage leaves for about 1–2 minutes until pliable, then remove and set aside to cool slightly.

Spoon the pork mixture into each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, egg roll–style.

In a clean skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Place rolls seam-side down and pan-fry until golden on all sides.

Tip: Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping or a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top! You can also serve the Pork mixture over a bed of white rice!
