Honey Mustard Glaze
Ingredients
Light brown sugar packed
1 cup
Honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup
Whole grain mustard
1/4 cup
Dried tarragon
2 tsp
Utensils
- Aluminum foil-lined pan
- Pastry brush or spoon
- Baster
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325°F and move the rack to the lowest position. Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil and place the ham cut-side down.
Mix all ingredients together, then brush the ham generously with the glaze using a pastry brush or spoon.
Bake uncovered for 2½ to 3 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 140°F. Baste with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
Remove the ham from the oven, spoon some of the pan drippings over the top, and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
