As a Grass Roots subscriber, you have the control and full flexibility to edit your recurring order at any time via your account page. Sit back, relax and let us help you eat with confidence by delivering great, sustainable meats to your door each month!

Can I change what's in my box every month?

Yes! Just log in to your account page any time before your order renews and add and subtract away. If you like your box the way it is, just leave it alone. The order will renew automatically every 30 days. Here’s a short tutorial to help you make those changes.

Will I get a reminder about my renewal?

Yep, we’ll send you an email 10 days before your box renews.

What if I'm not ready to receive my box when my order renews?

No problem, just log in to your account page and put it on hold. Or you can change the renewal date to something that better fits your schedule.

What if I need more meat before its time for my renewal?

Piece of cake.  Just login to your account page and change the renewal date. You could get weekly shipments if you were that enthusiastic.

Do I have to subscribe to order from you?

We have a few one-time purchase bundles. And if you want to try the build-you-own box model, you can subscribe and then cancel after the first shipment if you aren’t satisfied.

When will I receive my order?

Your ship date depends on your shipping zone and which service you choose.

Ground shipments go out on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Arkansans and just on Tuesdays for everyone else. Express orders are shipped on Mondays. We pack our boxes on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays and ship them out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. So, allow a day for processing and fulfillment when you’re figuring out when to expect your box.

When your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. And feel free to give us a call if you need more information.

How will my meat be shipped?

Our current carriers are FedEx and UPS. Your meat will arrive frozen. To ensure this, we use EPS foam coolers and dry ice. EPS foam is NOT styrofoam. It is CFC free, recyclable, and reusable. If you don’t plan reuse or repurpose the box, you can recycle it. Here’s a map to help you find a center near you.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

How will my package arrive?

We use UPS and FedEx to ship our foods. Your meat will arrive frozen in an EPS foam cooler.

How do you keep my meat frozen?

We use EPS foam coolers—which are reusable and recyclable— packed with dry ice. Sometimes some of the dry ice is still intact when the box arrives, which should not come into direct contact with your skin.

What should I do with my cooler and box?

Recycle, reuse or repurpose it! Here’s a link to facilities across the country that specialize in EPS foam recycling. If that’s not an option for you and you don’t have a use for it, many UPS and FedEx stores will accept and reuse EPS. And if you are in or near Clinton, Arkansas, and would like to drop off your cooler with us, we’d be glad to have it back.

What US states do you ship to?

All of them except Alaska and Hawaii!

Our Guarantee

We want you to be completely satisfied, even exited about, the foods you receive from us. To ensure the integrity of our meats, we inspect every package carefully and pack our boxes with a great deal of attention.

 

And to be sure that you are thrilled with your order, we guarantee your satisfaction with the quality of our products. All foods will arrive frozen in good condition. If either of these standards are not met, we’ll issue you store credit or reship the product within 30 days of your purchase.

 

If you enter incorrect delivery information, we are not responsible for delivery errors or late deliveries. If you fail to move the products you receive into proper frozen or refrigerated storage in a timely manner, we are not responsible for the quality of the products. But if your package does not arrive or if it arrives in poor condition, please give us a call at 512.725.1254 and we will work to resolve the problem and replace your order.
