Where else can I find your meats?

Our meats are available at two online farmers’s markets: Arkansas Local Food Network and Conway Locally Grown. We attend the Hillcrest Farmers’ Market most Saturdays.

We also offer a home delivery service to folks in the Little Rock area thanks to a partnership with Chef Shuttle. This 12-pound monthly delivery is recurring but can be canceled any time. Read more about it here.

why do you Contribute to Heifer international?

Heifer helped our cooperative get its start. Their work with farming families around the world modeled how to share resources and demonstrated the value in doing so. They also backed loans for some of our beginning farmers, helped us develop relationships with marketing and distribution partners,  and supported the development a cooperatively owned processing facility. In the spirit of  paying it forward—or what Heifer calls “Passing on the Gift®”—we want to support their other programs, both domestic and international. And we hope that, by doing so, we help other small-scale farmers have access to the tools and resources they need to learn how to earn a living wage.

When will I receive my order?

We pack our boxes on Mondays and Wednesday and ship them out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you live in a state other than Arkansas, your order will ship on the next Tuesday after your order is placed.

If you live in Arkansas, it’s a bit more complicated. If you order on Monday or a Tuesday, we’ll pack it on Wednesday and ship it on Thursday. If you order Wednesday through Sunday, we’ll pack it on Monday and ship it on Tuesday.

You should receive your package 24–48 hours after it ships.

How will my meat be shipped?

Our current carrier is FedEx. Your meat will arrive frozen. To ensure this, we use EPS foam coolers and dry ice. EPS foam is NOT styrofoam. It is CFC free, recyclable, and reusable. In fact, we enclosed a prepaid return label in your box, so you can send it back to us if you don’t have a use for it.

What kind of payment types do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.
