You can make this delicious burger as indulgent or as lean as you like! It works great with grass-fed beef, pork, turkey or even chicken!

Ingredients

Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp
Onion Powder
1/4 tsp
Smoke paprike (optional)
1/4 tsp
Salt & Pepper
to taste
Cheese of choice (We love Cheddar or Gouda!)
2 oz
Burger Buns
4
Toppings of choice (tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles)

Utensils

  • Non-stick pan or griddle
  • Large bowl

Instructions

In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine (don’t overwork the meat.)

Divide the mixture into 8 thin patties. Place a cube or slice of cheese in the center of 4 patties, then top each with another patty. Seal the edges tightly to enclose the cheese fully.

Heat a nonstick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temp reaches 165°F and the cheese inside is melted.

Assemble you burger! We suggest lightly toasting your buns on your heated griddle, then layer with the burger and your favorite toppings.
